Words can’t quite describe the power of the energy in this area. Take a journey to Willka T’ika, at the heart of Peru’s Sacred Valley of the Inca to experience it for yourself. Daily yoga, meditation, + pranayama practices will help you connect to the land, your community, and yourself.

The week together will include practices, a day at Machu Picchu, a day exploring Cusco, time to reflect and rejuvenate in the gardens and majestic land surrounded by the Andes, and much more…

THE DESTINATION

The Sacred Valley is a truly special place that travelers from all over the world yearn to see. Nestled between two 20,000-foot-peaks, it was also an essential region for the Inca Empire. When the Inca ruled ~500 years ago, they built stone temples, fortresses, and other sacred sites.

Your home-base for the week is Willka T’ika, a luxurious eco-friendly sanctuary located between the world heritage site of Machu Picchu and the Incan capital of Cusco. Each room is constructed of natural local materials and has entry to the gardens. The chakra gardens have won three separate awards and contain symbols, shapes, sculptures, and medicinal plants that resonate with the correlating chakra.

Willka T’ika’s gate opens onto meandering pathways that lead through farming community, toward the town of Urubamba. In town you can explore markets, alpaca stores, and world-class artist studios.

Your Guides

 

THE YOGA

Each day includes two yoga sessions, minus a few days with excursions. The sessions are a combination of powerful, energizing poses, breath and meditation, and restorative classes. Classes are inspired from many lineages and some include chanting, Kriya, and subtle aspects of yoga that allow for profound healing and transformation. All classes are optional and will include modifications for beginners as well as opportunities to level up into your challenging edge.

Triple Occ: $2,000 per person**

Double Occ: $2,500 per person**

THE ROOMS

Both Luxury & Garden Rooms are availble at the same cost. Rooms will be given out on a first-come-first-serve basis.

The spacious luxury rooms, designed using feng shui principles, include a seating area and offer mountain and garden views. The cozier garden rooms are tucked away in charming spots throughout the gardens.

Each room has its own private modern bathroom and entry to the gardens. The welcoming Quechua staff places fresh flowers in each room, and provides hot water bottles for your bed at night. To maintain a tranquil retreat atmosphere, rooms have no television sets or telephones.

ARRIVAL + DEPARTURE

The nearest airport is Cusco International (CUZ). Plan to arrive at Willka Tika on Saturday, January 6th. Check in time is 3pm but you are welcome to store your luggage earlier if needed.

We are happy to help you make arrangements for transportation from the airport if needed, but you will be responsible for covering the cost. Typically it costs around $30 per person for 3+ riders, or $60 per person for 1-2 riders. We are happy to help arrange group transport once we collect everyone’s flight information.

We will depart on January 13th. Check out time is 11am. Guest Services at our retreat center will happily help you arrange transport to the airport if needed. We will not have any activities except breakfast on the 13th.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Deposit will be refunded up until August 1st. Everything except your deposit will be refunded until October 1st. No refunds after October 1st… only exception would be if Covid prevents us from traveling… or Peru has major civil unrest… keep your fingers crossed all is well at the time we plan on going.

We highly recommend you purchase “cancel for any reason” travel insurance to protect your international travel investment.
